Create

  1. Settings → Chat Folders → New Folder;
  2. Name it and choose which chat types to include (contacts, groups, channels, read);
  3. Use Exclude to keep unwanted chats out.

Useful schemes

  • Work: colleague groups and project channels only;
  • Inbox: unread and pinned chats as a to-do view;
  • Personal: family and friends, free of work noise.

Advanced

Folders sync across devices. On desktop press Ctrl plus a number to switch, and unread counts are tracked per folder.
