Create
- Open @BotFather and send /newbot;
- Follow the prompts for a display name and a username ending in bot;
- Save the API token you receive.
Basic setup
- /setcommands to define the menu, such as start and help;
- /setdescription for the intro users see first;
- /setuserpic for the avatar;
- /setprivacy to control group message access.
Make it reply
With the token, call getUpdates to receive messages and sendMessage to answer. Without a server, host the webhook on a cloud function.
