A username lets people find you as @xxx without knowing your phone number, and gives you a shareable profile link.

Setup

  1. Settings → Username (some clients put it under Edit Profile);
  2. Enter 5-32 characters: letters, digits and underscores only;
  3. Once it shows as available, save it.

Naming tips

  • Keep it consistent with your brand or other platforms;
  • Avoid frequent changes — old links break immediately;
  • If you prefer not to be found, restrict "find me by username" in privacy settings.
