Starting a call

Open a chat and tap the phone or camera icon in the top corner for voice or video; groups support group calls too.

Settings

  • Settings → Devices and Calls: choose speaker or earpiece by default;
  • Call peers can be set to everybody, contacts or nobody to control incoming calls;
  • During a video call you can switch cameras or turn video off and keep audio.

Data and stability

  1. On weak networks prefer voice: video quality drops automatically;
  2. Cap call data usage under Data and Storage;
  3. Headphones reduce echo and feedback.
