What syncs
- Messages, media, files and Saved Messages;
- Drafts and pinned messages;
- Folders, mute and notification settings.
What does not
- Secret chats: local to the two devices that created them;
- Passcode lock: configured per device.
Switching devices
A new device pulls the full history immediately, with no restore step. Terminate the old session under Devices afterwards.
